Daily Report

by Lt. L. P. Arnold, "Chicago", Mechanic

At ten Lowell [Lt. Smith, Commander] & I departed for Brough leaving Wade [Lt. "Boston" pilot] to secure some supplies. We arrived about two & a few minutes later were working on the planes again.

Living here at the field makes it most convenient for us for we lose no time going to & fro & not many get in to take up our time with questions & requests for autographs -- autograph hunting seems to be a "rage" here in England.

Shortly after nine I turned in & with a comfortable bed & cool weather I had the best & longest sleep since leaving Alaska.
